Hi, I'll cut to the chase here.

The are a few programs that are starting with Windows against my will. Eg: Adobe Acrobat update utility. I disabled it in the startup list in task manager, I even turned off every single Adobe service in msconfig, but it still starts with windows every time I boot.

My question is, how can a non-windows program do that after being disabled on all ends? How do I stop that? My question is not Acrobat specific, but a general question about keeping programs asleep when I don't want them running.

Peace in our time,

Ari
