hey guys im trying to build a new gaming pc for a less fourtunate friend. he currently plays games on a hp pavilion. i already have an idea of what parts im going to use. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/bVvt4q ... im in the process of making of a gofund me, ill send it in the replys. any help(donations, better parts,etc.) would help. thank you all!!

i was thinking about that would that be as reliable as building a new system

I would ditch that cpu cooler as the R5 1600 already comes with a decent cooler out of the box. Also swap out that A320 board for a B350 for overclocking support.

Build something like this instead.

It has got a better cpu, better Mobo, RGB ram, better gpu, case with RGB fans, and a way better PSU.

What are the specs on the pavillion? You can still just make a couple upgrades if it's good enough.
