Clarification on the motherboards monitoring (strix x370-i)

 

So looking at the specs it seems the motherboard can set fan curves based on GPU temps (going to be using a waterloop so this would save me buying a nzxt grid or something similar) is anyone able to confirm?

depends on the board some software dont read the fan header chipsets

maybe ive just been lucky then every PC I owned I never had issues.
