I will upgrade ddr4 ram to 16 GB. I have now one stick which is 8gb so i need a other one. Question is do i have to buy the exact same ram stick (same MHz, size). Or if say G.skill has 8 gb 2400 mhz ram can i take it and it would work fine whit the Kingston one?

This is the ram stick i currently got:

I would try to get the same stick. It eliminates the majority of potential problems that you could have with different sticks of RAM. A lot of times, you can put many different configurations of RAM in, and it will all just run at the slowest speed (sometimes in single channel if the sizes are different or you have an odd number of sticks), but you can also have problems and it won't work at all. So it's best to just get the same RAM if possible.
