I bought some of Thermaltakes TG-7 thermal grease is it any good?

As @shmoochie pointed out pretty much any kind of thermal paste is good, as long as it comes from a name brand. Don't use toothpaste.

Apply enough paste and check that your cooler is well seated and you should be good to go.

NT-H1 or Cryonaut is what I'd go for if you really care to have a good paste. NT-H1 is really nice to work with from my experience, good consistency and great temps

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

for those crazy people that care about 1 degrees cooler than others, the thermal grizzy kryonaut is the coolest but the most value for money in my country is the mx4 which is 1 degrees hotter than the kryonaut. unacceptable, when i got my thermal grizzy i threw my mx4 away jkjk.
