Thumbstick switch!

They seem to have the same thumbstick sockets, but I can't say for sure, since the stick for example might be taller or smaller on one or the other.

The only surefire way is to either talk to someone who's done it, or to get thumbsticks and compare. It might be easier to do the latter, because replacements are very cheap on eBay or Amazon.

I put Dualshock 4 sticks into my Dreamcast controller, they're so much better. Can't believe I went so long using the shitty standard ones...
