My Rock Candy wireless PS3 controller isn't working! Can you help an idiot in need?

Hey, so here are the basic details

 

1. I replaced the batteries, seeing as the other ones weren't working before.

2. I've tried pairing it with my USB dongle, but it won't work. The Dongle flashes, but not my controller. (As I've seen in tutorials and stuff)

 

 

It straight up won't turn on, is there a pinhole to reset the controller? Or am I out of luck in this situation?

 

It'd be great if you guys could help!

You could open it up and look around inside for any obvious problems, but it'd probably be easier to get a new one.
