Battery powered WiFi Adapters?

Does anyone know of any wifi adapters out there which does not draw power from the device but have their own battery instead? Need a portable wifi adapter here Which I can plug into my device for internet access without burdening my device with power drain.

I am not talking about this -> https://www.amazon.com/TP-Link-Wireless-Portable-Travel-Router/dp/B00TQEX8BO?ref_=fsclp_pl_dp_2   or even this https://www.amazon.com/Huawei-E5577s-321-Hotspot-Globally-Working/dp/B01BHT39ZK?ref_=fsclp_pl_dp_5

Looking for an adapter not a router.

If you mean a usb wireless adapter, you could simply hack a usb cable and tap into the 5v and ground wires and connect those to a battery bank that outputs 5v... and leave only the ground wire on the laptop side connected.

wow, that was really....intelligent...literally.

But I was thinking of something commercially produced so that it survives the daily jerks drops scratches and stretches.
