Hi, i recently joined an esports organisation, and we are required to upload our csgo game play every week, therefore having at least 10 - 20 minutes worth of video after its been edited. now my problem is that i have been using OBS to record my gameplay, im recording at 1920 x 1080 @ 60FPS, but my monitor is 2560 x 1080 144Htz. When i play without recording i get 280+ fps, but when i start recording it drops as low as 75 FPS. i know it is not unplayable but it is very shakey and makes it very difficult to play and focus on being competitive if i have frame drops in clutch situations. I have a 8Gb  gigabyte auoris Rx 580 and an i7 6700k running at stock atm. my CSGO is also installed on my HDD and not one of my SSD's (dont know if having the gaem and obs on a SSD would help). is my  setup not good enough and if so would upgrading to a GTX 1070 or 1080 help?

What settings are you using in obs? Sounds like you should change your bitrate, the CPU is probably getting hit really hard.

Edit: can you capture 720 60fps instead? It would be less demanding in case you can't fix the framerate problem.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

You have to change your bitrate and the settings you stream at. Honestly if you joined a Esports org and they required you to do this and didnt help, they arent worth your time.

Try GPU encoding, not x264. You'll get lower quality though (can be fixed partially with some tweaks)

cpu is probably having trouble doing obs and csgo. I personally used the geforce shadowplay at 1080p60 and I don't get any frame drops with my gtx 960. Try the AMD gpu recording software and higher the bitrate while doing 1080p60.

Should be a fast preset in your options.  https://www.gamersnexus.net/guides/2993-amd-1700-vs-intel-7700k-for-game-streaming should help
