Hey i just realized that my psu only has 1 6 pin connector. Does the 970 need like two 6 pin connector or 8 pin connector or something??

Wattage wise you're fine, but this i5 is gonna bottleneck HARD. My i5 2500k @4.5GHz bottlenecked my 970 in a few games. I recommend going to a 2600 whenever you can.

CPU: i5 10600KFMotherboard: Asus B460M-Plus | Cooling: Gamemmaxx 400 XT w/ Corsair ML120 Elite + 1 ML120 Elite exhaust + 2 ML140 Elite intake

Yeahh ?. I am getting an i5 3570k for free from one of my friends so do you think it would be good with the 970?

For most cases, yeah, but it will also bottleneck some games, like Battlefield, GTA V, The Division and any other CPU intensive game since this CPU will be slower than my old 2500k.

Well im mostly gonna just do 720p gaming because i dont have a 1080p monitor. I just need a gaming setup enough to play modern games at medium-high settings. Games like pubg n stuff.

While yes it is enough of a PSU, keep in mind the PSU still is junk:

Just for a quick fun of it.

I wouldn't overclock.

Well, reducing the resolution doesn't help the CPU, but the GPU, so you'll probably run everything in Ultra and be bottlenecked by the CPU. My 970 drives my 2560x1080 monitor in medium-ultra settings depending on the game.

Great choice, the R5 2600 is the bang for the buck king atm.
