plex or emby alternatives

I decided to build a media server for my parents, but little problem father have a backlog of ripped DVD moves and tv shows in HDD, so sorting everything it's going to be a pain I watch Linus video about streaming home media

I liked the interface of air video but it doesn't have windows client for HTPC around the house. 

 

Any video streaming apps for windows user ?  doesn't require to sort video between tv shows and movies

Files names are a mess  because of some in Russian some in my native language some in Latvia
