New graphics cards recommendations

So i am looking to do an upgrade on my old card (here) and I already have $180 in da bank. So I have a few questions. 1: should I even sell it. 2: if not which one can i buy that will link up with that 3: if I should sell, what graphics card should I get

you could try selling that you would probably get somewhere near $50 - 70 for it and for the GPU I would recommend looking at RX 580s or GTX 1060s on sale but if you can't wait go with something like a GTX 1050ti or RX 570

Sometimes you can even snag an Amd 580 for pretty cheap

I agree with you. I'd really recommend going for the RX 580/GTX 1060. OP would be so glad he waited as the RX 580 packs quite a punch compared to the 570.

Sell it, get an RX 570.

If you've got that graphics card I'm thinking you've also got some kind of old CPU. What do you have? You may have to consider possible bottleneck.

i have a pentium gold because this is my first pc

With this CPU I know that on some of the more CPU demanding games will be limited. Personally, I would still go for the recommendations I posted above and then once you have the money to do so upgrade that processor to something like an i5

That'll be enough to handle mid range graphics cards like a 1060, but can hold you back sometimes
