Fortnite 80-100 fps

xDylanio

So a few days ago I was all on pretty high settings and getting 150-200 fps on fortnite. But right now as of today I changed nothing and all of a sudden I am 80-100 fps. It feels like trash and yes there is a difference between it.

Stop playing on high settings. Its not worth it. Turn shadows off, Post proc Off, and AA off. View Distance max that out, and Textures/effects you can play with to what you want. Theres a lot more stuff recently with the added zombies, crystals effects, and update patches that can affect gameplay

Also we have the same GPU and case ;D

Hmm, maybe the difference is just because tearing is more noticeable at lower frame rate? Or you're micro stuttering, because it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to notice a difference between 80 and 200fps on a 60Hz panel. Why not use Vsync?

Was the pre problem also pre fortnitemares.

My fps went down too, but that is because of the increased load on the cpu with all of the fog and zombies to compute.

I was trying on vsync but it just made it feel way worse. Maybe it was tearing because I definetely felt a difference between 80 and 200+
