Steam question for Linux

So I have decided to wipe my pcs hard drive and heard that Linux is better for gameing because it uses less resources... But anyway I use steam but they arent all compatible with Linux please leave an awnswer or response thanks

Not many games are compatible with linux which is why it is bad for gaming, If more game supported it it would be better but its not, go back to windows.

Yeah, not many games support Linux, my guess is that 10-15% of games support Linux. 

A lot more will support it as Steam have released their Steam OS in beta.

At this point, there's 450 linux compatible games on steam.

...Steam OS is just a forked version of linux that Valve has created, it doesn't get exclusive rights to all games, it (should) work with all distros

Well, depending on how they code it, it could. They could have some funky stuff going on in the background that's specific to them (but of course you could probably download it once they release it).
