Why not buy good non-RGB fans rather than crappy RGB ones?

I'd rather by budget go towards something that will increase performance since my PC is sat on the floor not on my desk.

then... why rgb if it isnt on your desk? the only time you will see the glow is if you look at the floor... i would just say buy RGB strips, much cheaper and replacable for cheaper, then use the “rgb fan money” for quality, non rgb fan

well still, RGB strips are really cheap, and most plug in with a USB, so you can use the usb port on the back of your PC to power it,

btw, dont care about what people say about how your pc looks, dont spend too much on cosmetics and instead put that money towards better hardware, then when they say “ha, no rgb” you can show them that your benchmark scores are better.. why? cause you didnt waste money on looks but went for quality instead

True bro, I have a cheap RGB strip I had around my desk but its decided to stop working, if I can get it to work might cut it down and have it inside my build. I've had my PC for years just had the money to upgrade CPU and this Christmas I will be upgrading to a 1070 then it'll finally be good lol.

lol, however, when you have the best pc on the block, it should be safe to upgrade to rgb.. in my opinion..

edit: by the way, what are you gonna do with your 960? if you are gonna sell it, i might buy.. if not oh well lol ?

just to say, 1070 ti is the same price and better performence. take a look into that. and of course you should spend more on raw power. but some looks is never wrong. but I don't think rgb fans are the best way to do it here
