Big difference between 3000 MHz and 3200?

Hi guys, 

 

I just bought 32 gigs of corsair vengeance pro rgb ram clocked @ 3000mhz. If I had bought the 3200 mhz variant it would've cost 40 bugs more. Will there be a big performance difference if I had chosen the 3200 mhz version? Can I easily oc the stick to 3200mhz without damaging lifespan to much? I have a 630 watt cougar powersuplly and the mb: gygabite aorus ga-z270x gaming 8. Paired with i7 7700 and gtx 980 evga 4gb. Thx for replying.

It will make no noticable difference

Welcome to LTT Forums !!

Since this is an intel CPU, then the difference is less than 1%

you could have easily bought 2666mhz and still less than 1%

Everyone was a noob at the beginning, don't be discouraged by toxic trolls even if u lose 15 times in a row. Keep training and pushing yourself further and further, so u can show those sorry lots how it's done !

Be a supportive player, and make sure to reflect a good image of the game community you are a part of. 

Don't kick a player unless they willingly want to ruin your experience.

We are the gamer community, we should take care of each other !

Damn... Everyone bragging like it's day and night if u have faster ram... Nvrmind. Atleast I got 'nough dedicated ram for minecraft server XD

It matters soo much for an AMD CPU

they are talking about amd cpus
