Gaming is not affected at all by windows versions. I use pro.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

 

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

The problem is with your drivers or something else. Windows version has no impact on game performance by itself.

I have home and i postpone my updates. I only let 1803 install about 3 weeks ago. If you do a real shutdown instead of restart it doesn't install.

Only purpose will be gaming

I use win education for gaming and there is no difference. Only

 difference between win home and pro is that win pro comes with bitlocker and allows more ram whereas win home doesn't. At the end it come to you, i would prefer win pro for gaming just to get those extra features in case you want to update your ram in future.

If it bonks on the reinstall of the drivers or even the uninstall use DDU in safe mode.
