Between the msi b450 gaming plus and the b450 tomahawk, which should I choose for this build? I plan to overclock the 2600; however, I want the mobo to be aesthetically pleasing, as well. If the VRM difference between the tomahawk and gaming plus is wide enough though, I will choose the more durable one.

I honestly don't see a difference except the VRM heatsink and I/O. Although I don't know how much effect the heatsink will have if you plan on overclocking.

MSI boards for AM3+ were pretty crap.  Their Ryzen boards are decent though, especially at their price points.

I thought the vrm heatsinks looked pretty similar.. I think the only real differences is the IO and that the tomahawk has RGB and is a more neutral color (grey/gray)

@lmeneses I'd say go with the tomahawk, but make sure to read the reviews and look at the good to bad review ratio.

the tomahawk has a rebate too

Yea, I've heard a lot of good about the tomahawk, especially with VRMs, but I just wanted to see when compared to the gaming plus how big the performance difference was
