Windows 7 transfer

Hello HDshiny,

You can clone the drive to another drive with third party tools like EaseUS for example, or if you planning to re-install your system in another drive you can find your activation key with other type of tools to find the keys of your products like KeyFinder:

-KeyFinder | Magical Jelly Bean

-EaseUS

I literally just want to start again with my new pc. Iv got a new drive just don't want to be transfuring all old files onto new hard drive and don't want to be waiting 3-5 days for a windows key to come through the post haha

I see, but after reinstalling changes are that the system will need to run some Windows updates. In your case then just scan with the key finder tool, it will give you the license for Windows so that you can use it again in another different machine.

It depends on a lot of variables and the type of license you have etc.

But is a very likely you can do that. If you don't have the key just use a keyfinder.

Obviously once you activate it on the new computer stop using you old computer or it will cause activation problems for both computers.

If it was Windows 10 you could just link the Windows 10 digital license to your Microsoft account, and thus the next time you log in in the newly installed system the license will activate alone, that saves the extra work of finding the activation digital license and son on, check out more here:

You better don't! activation keys on the internet lead to more problems eventually, just run the key finder and save it for later...
