GPU Death

I'm not looking for advice or anything. It's just time to get a new one. I just wanted a shoulder to cry on. I woke up today to find that the GPU fan was spinning at 100% and making a noise like a chainsaw. I've been playing Arkham Asylum all week and I guess that was just too much. I'm going to try getting some more time by cleaning everything but I guess I'm in the market for a replacement now. Everybody fly your screen savers at half-mast tomorrow for this little evga that lost it's life in the line of duty.

If you're willing to give it a try the fan can be replaced.

^ There's a good chance it can be repaired, or replaced. Even if a fin broke off, you can just break the fin opposite it and it will be balanced again lol

Did the screen go all funny, or blank, when the fan died? If you shut off in time, you could still salvage the GPU with a simply HSF replacement. A GPU death is when you can't get to POST to begin with.....
