Is my GPU dead?

Hello, this is my first time posting and I have a huge doubt about my PC, so, I'll start telling you my build:

 

Motherboard: Gigabyte AB350M - Gaming 3 (bought last year)

Graphics Card: GTX 970 (may be dead)

RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB 2400Mhz DDR4 (bought last year)

CPU: Ryzen 7 1700 (bought last year)

 

So, what happened was, I update to the newest driver and decided to play AC: Odyssey and my screen went weird and stopped giving me signal, so I restarted my computer and opened the game again, after a few minutes the screen went off again, I restarted once again and after a few minutes it went off even if I didn't open the game again.

After that, the screen stopped working, so I went and every time I managed to turn it on, in the login screen on Windows 10 it would just turn off, every single time.

So I started the computer on Safe Mode and decided to uninstall the Display Driver using DDU and after I rebooted the system it didn't turn off anymore, until I updated my graphics card to the newest driver and after a couple of minutes it turned off again and never turned on, my MOBO would beep some times, sometimes it was 3 beeps, others 5, others 2, I didn't understand because it kept changing.

I went to the tech and he did some testes, he cleaned my PC, took the PC apart and built it up again, and the computer reached the login screen and turned off, he then tested other graphic cards and they worked perfectly, he said that my GPU is faulty and I should change it.

My question is, is there any chance that there is something wrong and not the GPU? The beeps were kinda random so I don't trust them. And I can't test the GPU because my PC keeps beeping 3 times and I don't know what to do and the GPU doesn't seem to work. Should I upgrade my GPU or is it something else?

I doubt it's dead. If you can, try running it in an older system or using an older driver.

possible but not the only reason, not even the most likely reason. It could be dying memory sticks, failing motherboard, even failing boot drive

Do a clean install with DDU, and test it in another system you know works if you have one. Then you can rule it out
