.a2c file Help with a .a2c file

I have happened to come across a rather old game to which id life to modify a character file saved in .a2c format. I've searched for a program that would allow me to open and modify and/or convert to something modifiable but to no avail. 

Any help would be appreciated!

It's probably a proprietary format, most likely a basic memory dump (how the character info is stored in game's memory) to file.

 

Zip and upload the file somewhere, maybe name the game, and maybe someone can help (me included if i'm not too tired).

It's only extension. Try to open file in text editor and look how header (first bytes) looks.
