First Build Ever

Hello! This is my first ever desktop build and I wanted some opinions on it. Just saying this build was not all me. My friend, who just so happens to be pretty good at building PC's, helped me pick some parts out. Right now I'm using a laptop hooked up to a TV and that doesn't really satisfy my need to play demanding games. The only game I can play on good graphics right now using my laptop is League of Legends and that's not really something to brag about. I would like to play games like Farcry 5, Rust, Skyrim (with a good amount of mods), and obviously League of Legends. I appreciate all feedback and tips. Thank you!

Its basically when you make your cpu, gpu, and/or ram go faster. I wouldn't recommend doing crazy overclocking as it can reduce the life of your parts and if you do plan on it then make sure you have good cooling.

Shaved off some cooler capabilities because you dont need that good of a cooler if you don't overclock aggressively

Swapped mobo and RAM for essentially the same performance

Increased SSD space, because fast storage is always welcomed and SSDs are getting cheap compared to how they were

Swapped to Vega 56, not only the same price for more performance than the 1070, also supports Freesync. Freesync monitors are cheaper than Gsync ones so the feature is more affordanle to use.

Changed case, I have no idea how the Inwin 101 breath, but I do know it's a bit expensive for what it is

Changed PSU, because you could get better for spare change in your pocket.

The OP never gave a budget and resolution/refresh rate he wants to play at either.
