I don't know who told you you needed that much wattage, since you'd have to be pushing a lot of volts and OCs through a single GPU system to push over 500W. A 550W or 650W would be more than plenty.

PC Specs - AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D MSI B550M Mortar - 32GB Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR4-3600 @ CL16 - ASRock RX7800XT 660p 1TBGB & Crucial P5 1TB Fractal Define Mini C CM V750v2 - Windows 11 Pro

550W will be fine for an 8700k and a single GTX 1080. If you want something quiet, what about a Bitfenix Whisper M 550W or BeQuiet Straight Power 11 550W? Could even go the RM550x or if you want the Corsair Link software compatibility the RM650i.

CPU: Intel i7 6700k  | Motherboard: Gigabyte Z170x Gaming 5 | RAM: 2x16GB 3000MHz Corsair Vengeance LPX | GPU: Gigabyte Aorus GTX 1080ti | PSU: Corsair RM750x (2018) | Case: BeQuiet SilentBase 800 | Cooler: Arctic Freezer 34 eSports | SSD: Samsung 970 Evo 500GB + Samsung 840 500GB + Crucial MX500 2TB | Monitor: Acer Predator XB271HU + Samsung BX2450

What country? Remember used PSU won't come with a warranty, just something to consider.

Your system will use less than 500w under load with moderate overclocking, and the cables should be fine (as long as the 2nd hand seller of the rm750i you're looking at includes them)

What's the rrp for the bitfenix whisper m and be quiet straight power 11 550w models where you are?

In that case then you'll want to go with a 750w model.

The PSU will be fine for an 8700k + 2x 1080 sli.

Just double check all of the cables are inside when you buy it (should list the included cables on the box otherwise check the product info page on the Corsair website)
