Best Headphones with mic below $150

boey

Looking for headphones with an inbuilt mic. I'm currently using a HyperX Cloud II and the sound quality and mic quality is good, but my friends often complain of occasional static(which is very loud apparently). Also the mic seems to be very sensitive, to the point where I earrape people over discord just by rubbing the braided cable or moving my head.

Try to run the clouds without the usb dongle. Or if you do, try running it with the usb dongle ;)

The Clouds are the best under $100 so you are already pretty much at the limit.

country? any brand that you might want to try ?

take a look at the Sennheiser GSP 300, The mic isn't removable though.

Surely you've tried lowering your mic sensitivity in the Discord voice and video settings?

I don't think you're going to find a better headset than the Cloud 2 for that price.

I set the mic sensitivity lower and it doesn't work. Anything but 0 makes the voice indicator green, but my friends don't hear anything until I do something that causes static or talk.

Sennheiser looks like a pretty good brand, Don't really care about removable mics as I intend to use this for gaming only.

in that case, i would recommend Sennheiser GSP 350 , the 300 is 99 euros while the 350 is 140 euros

I have a pair of razer 7.1 v2s. Thier a year old now and I love them! Though now the have been replaced with the tourney version (razer kraken TE) and from what I've heard they are even better with thier thx spacial audio over my 7.1. Personnal I go with razer because I like the ecosystem and thier design (I know the hyper x cloud is better for the money but I hate how it looks!) also you can't go wrong with the bass these things make!

I have friends who use them, and I constantly hear their sounds being transmitted into their mics quite loudly. Could be something to do with the vibrations from the headphones being transferred to the mic
