4pin to molex

VoxelCode

hi so I have a problem with connecting my fans to my PSU. The 4 pin cable that they are, will not fit whatever cable that is in the PSU. sorry for not being specific, I don't know what they are called. If anyone can help that would be great thanks.

Your PSU may come with 2 sets of 4 PIN EPS power connectors - they only fit ONE WAY into your motherboard. Let me know your motherboard model, your power supply model, and upload a picture of both the plugs AND the power connector socket you're trying to plug into.

okay so my motherboard is a ASROCK 960GM/U3S3 FX, my PSU is just a regular 300W from an Inspiron 570 model, and I am not able to upload pictures of them sorry. Hopefully this information suffices, but let me know if you need anything else

The fans should be using a standard fan header and plugs into your motherboard. If you want to plug it into your psu, you either need a powered fan hub or a molex to fan adapter.
