alc892 vs asus strix soar 7.1 ?

EOZ

Is it worth to upgrade from ALC892 onboard audio to Asus Strix Soar 7.1 Sound Card ?

Just for better overall sound quality.

While you do get better audio, it's both more economical and better performing to just get a dac and amp for your headset in some cases. The strix raid dlx is $42 at fry's electronics today though, so that may be some value there.

It's strictly for 2.1 audio system. I'm using headsets not so much.

Through 3.5mm audio jack.

then you can go either way. Like I said the strix raid dlx is $42 at fry's electronics today so that would be the most cost effective method today, however a dac/amp would get the same results + be really well made for the time you possibly upgrade to a headset.
