"heighten" and "high IQ" ....

Depends on what GPUs you are referring to, and the condition and deviation of the PC market.

RX Vega / 500 series GPUs should continue to drop as "7nm" Vega and/or Navi releases in Q4 2018 / Q1 2019.

GTX 1000 series cards will probably continue to drop, or stay low, until the remain surplus supplies run out.

"Early adopter tax" on the RTX 2000 series should get removed, but prices won't change much, if anystill brand-new GPUs and no direct competition from AMD.

As mentioned by @lmeneses, retailers might use Black Friday / Cyber Monday to help clear out inventory on the older GPUs

(e.g. GTX 1000 series, any remaining GTX 900 series, RX 500 and 400 series GPUs, some of the lower-end GeForce 700 series stock, etc)

Honestly I think people don't realize that when the 10 series stock runs out that prices will go up. I would actually buy now before that happens tbh.
