You should go with a i5-3470 when you have a non-overclocking board. Also, Check if that powersupply will even fit into Prodigy. I would go with a Seasonic G550.

No no no no no. 3570 is stupid, 3470 if no overclocking. 3570 is just a waste of money.

Also, you should be able to get in that budget: ASUS P8Z77-I Deluxe + i5-3570K and get 7870 XT (good as 660 Ti but only about 2/3 of the price.

if you want a black and red motherboard go for the asrock z77E - itx. its not black and red but its completely black :D its as close as youre gonna get
I would recomend the GIGABYTE z77 wifi over the Asrock. It is also all black.

(Only because a friend had an asrock fry his system. I know, I know, it could happen with any mobo but still, I'm now wary.

Hi,

Saw this thread and i have just build my own prodigy build on a budget similar to yours. i changed most your items for no other reason other than a better performing system that you can OC later if you want.

A 7870 is usually somewhere between a 660 and 660 Ti in terms of performance, if you're only going to be using one 1080p monitor you might as well save a few bucks and go with that because the difference will be very small.

WHAT NO! HOW WOULD A 7970 PERFORM LESS THEN A 660TI WHEN A 7950 OUT PERFORMS A 660TI!

If you want a red / black colour scheme then the Evga Stinger Z77 m-itx board looks best option and especially if you get red memory and red led lighting and fans kit.

hope this helps, also its a good board and i think you can get it from NCIX
