Hi forum!

So, I am getting my new headset tommorow, and I dont really know what to do with the wiring. My previous headphones (Some Phillips headphones, I dont even know its name) had really long cable, so I have shortened it with zipties and ran it around my monitor to one of my speakers. Now I have bought a headset with the mic and I want to use my headset mic, becouse my current mic sucks. I thought that I can run my cable to the mobo and connect audio and mic. But there are speakers connected to my audio port on the back of my PC. Also I thought that I could connect it to the front of my PC, but I sit close to my PC and cables would just hang, that wouldnt be comfortable. What should I do?

Can you designate one of the back audio ports as headphone?  I seem to remember to be able to do this in the realtek software when you plug the cable in.  It didn't have to be 5.1 sound.

Intel 4670K /w TT water 2.0 performer, GTX 1070FE, Gigabyte Z87X-DH3, Corsair HX750, 16GB Mushkin 1333mhz, Fractal R4 Windowed, Varmilo mint TKL, Logitech m310, HP Pavilion 23bw, Logitech 2.1 Speakers

I think that my sound software is realtek ( something like Realtek HD audio)

Provided you're using onboard audio, I don't think it would decrease the audio quality in any way, so it's probably the cheapest and easiest solution. You can probably get them for <£1 on ebay.

How much could be for shipping from uk to lithuania? I dont know the prices :D
