What water blocks are suggested and any idea on what reference design gtx 680 to get? I currently have a 1920x1200 monitor but I plan to upgrade to a 2560x1400 later in the future so I would assume one with 4 GB would be better, I'll grab another gtx 680 with the monitor purchase though. I'm thinking of mounting a 360mm rad in the roof but can you run a RX360 push/pull with no problems with spacing? Thanks in advance.

I think if you wanted push/pull in the 800D roof, you'd need an external shroud with that radiator. I built a machine with a BlackIce SR-1 in the roof and I could only use one set of fans internally. Ended up just going with that because push/pull doesn't make too much of a difference especially with something like an SR-1.

As far as video card and waterblocks go, 4GB won't make that much of a difference on a single monitor. For multi-monitor though, absolutely. As long as you pick a reference card, most waterblocks would be fine. I personally like Heatkiller and XSPC.

For your water blocks, look at XSPC, EK, Swiftech - any of these will be good. The RX if you can manage push/pull might get you a few extra degrees, but as above, not sure you have clearance in the 800D.

I know that you can't fit the RX360 push/pull in the 800D without a fan shroud on top which looks really gross, but I forgot to actually hit post reply earlier and it was about how much a temperature difference I would get between pull and push/pull. Since the difference isn't too much I'll probably just go pull. Are there any suggested fans? I have NF-F12 PWMs in my sister's rig but I'm not sure if I want to throw brown fans into a red/black color scheme. Also a question about coolants - Should I get red tubing and distilled water or should I go red coolant and clear tubing? Another thing is that can you buy coolant in advance because I'm honestly too lazy to order coolant every 6 months to refill my loop can I just buy a years worth and hold it in a room temperature cabinet?

How do you find out if a graphics card is reference design or not? I was looking around for a D5 Vario but I can only find the pump that mounts onto a bay reservoir, there isn't any difference between cylindrical reservoirs other than volume, correct?

You shouldn't have to replace your coolant for about 2 years, you only have to replace it if you use water and don't add silver kill coils etc but good coolant contains biocides so you don't have to. As for a pump you should try to get a swiftech MCP655.

Oh really? I was reading around and people were saying that you had to replace your coolant every 6 months. Also are there any suggested coolants for a red that matches the ROG theme?

Personally, I go no longer than a year without changing the coolant. If you are performing regular maintenance on your loop, you can inspect stuff and make sure you don't have a problem such as clogging. Two years is the max shelf life for a coolant before it will definitely start exhibiting issues. Also depends on the run date. That will tell you when they made the bottle.

Typically, you replace the fluid when you do a maintenance clean or change something. Don't re-use fluid. I typically flush the loop every year. As for a red, go for distilled water and get some Mayhems red die. Then add till you get the color you want.

According to www.coolingconfigurator.com EK has a bunch of blocks that are visually to be confirmed - so looks that is a reference PCB.

Looks good - Primo Chill is pretty popular - I use XSPC tubing myself...
