RANTY POO: IOS Outdated?!

Graham Carter

ios.png.6bf54e10c942b43b9223df1fb66abda9.pngOk here goes...

I've been both an iPhone user and android user over the years, and recently have started to think that IOS is just looking so friggin outdated!
Recently purchased a red iPhone 7 plus and started to get angry almost immediately.

Granted iOS is a slick and polished OS functionality wise, but visually the chunky ass icons both at the bottom and for apps, are well just that...chunky ass friggin icons!
Hell you can't even add more than x4 icons to the bottom bar!

Anyone else agree with my Ranty Poo™ concerning crusty old visual iOS?

never fill the entire screen. It's just an ergonomic nightmare ;)

But yes, I agree that an inability to customize the layout is a serious frustration on iOS. One of the biggest ones left.

honestly in your example, I much prefer the iOS image, and I strongly dislike iOS

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

That's because he is a barbarian that fills the screen!

Good discussion so far peeps ?

and yeah, I kinda like to fill my screen with apps, takes me back to Windows 3.1 days ?

For the observant of you, I used to be a die-hard HTC fan, as they kicked off the lovely quality metal casing with the likes of HTC DESIRE HD etc (love the htc flip clock)

I digress though, even if apple released a few more options to make the icons a tad smaller, add more to the tray etc.
