my mom bought a new laptop with windows 8 installed and i importert all her emails from the old laptop to the new one.

she use windows mail and i succeded to import all the mails, but whenever i send her a mail she only recieve it on her old laptop with windows mail.

i made a account with the same email adress for the new laptop, the email app also shows "windows mail" with all her older emails, not the one i send her, i tried it multiple times and it didn't work.

i also tried to sync her emails, also this has no effect.

got any solutions??

Sounds like some settings might be incorrect. Have you matched the settings on the old laptop and the new one?

What method it uses to receive emails? IMAP, POP?

Because with POP I think there is a setting to delete the email from the server, so if the other computer is downloading the message first... there is the problem.

Does she use hotmail or the new outlook.com as her email,..

I couldn't receive new emails on my hotmail account within windows mail neither,..

I've read on forums that this was a problem created by the emailprovider (outlook.com) and that they were suppling fixes for it within a month,..

However, this was months ago!

so basicly what you saying is. if i delete the email from the old laptop, the new laptop will recieve it because the older one won't download the email?

Not necessarily, but only the first one the first one to download the message would receive it, try turn the second pc off and see if the fist one receive the email, if so then that's the case, if not then it's something else.

so i found that the mail app doesn't support POP email, microsoft said that i have to contact my provider so they can change the email to a IMAP or EAS one.

Or you could use another email software like Mozilla Thunderbird or Windows Live Mail.
