So I'm building my first pc and I need some help just wanna see suggestions and and I'm new to forums but Linus is awesome  :lol:

interesting, i would see if u can get cheaper ram from kingston or gskill and try and get an SSD or a better HDD like a caviar black from WD, which would increase performance :)

basically when a component is slowing down another because its not powerful enough

 it dosent nessersarly mean slowing down just not leting it preform its best! thats how i like to think of it

taking some thing big and power full and trying to push it down in to some thing smaller and less power full

but i stil dont think "bottelneck" is a good word for explaneing a problem that can be caused by meany difrent things :)

OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer

Basically it means once you install the OS on that computer it can't be installed on another computer (usually tied to the motherboard or CPU)

Although I have completely changed computers and everything was fine... but ignore that lol.

 

If you want to install that same OS on a new computer (when old computer is too old or whatever) you may have to call up microsoft and tell them that you had to replace your motherboard because it broke etc etc and you need the key to be activated again.
