MSI beefed up the vrms on the newer B450 boards, the tomahawk is one of the better B450 boards around.

Hello there! I have quite an old gaming system right now so I’m planning on building a new one. This is my current pc :

Operating system - Windows 10 pro 64-bit

CPU - Intel Core i7 930 @ 2.80GHz
RAM - 10GB Triple Channel DDR3
Motherboard - ASUSTeK Computer INC. P6X58D-E
GPU - Nvidia GeForce GTX 680 2047MB
Monitor - BenQ GW2760 (1920x1080@60Hz)
Storage - 931GB SAMSUNG HD103SJ ATA Device (SATA)
59GB Crucial c300-CTF DDAC064MAG SCSI Disk drive (SSD)
PSU - EVGA supernova gold 600-650w

parts I will use in my new build are:
corsair water cooler ( I thinks it’s a h50 )
gpu ( will upgrade in future when I have the money )
power supply
HDD and SSD (might get an extra SSD for games in future too)
case (antec 900)
monitor

So the new build I’m thinking of is:

Ryzen 2600
b450 tomahawk
16GB (2x8) ddr4 3000mhz or higher

i have around £350 right now plus any money from selling old parts and may be able to get some of the parts I need for Christmas.
i was just wondering if the build I am going for is ok so any advice is appreciated as this will be my first pc build.
( I know that I will need a am4 bracket for my cooler so if someone could link me one that would be great )
Thanks got any advice.

PS - if I don’t reply quick I’m sorry I’ve probably fallen asleep but I will try to reply as soon as I wake up

Why don’t you trust them?

They usually have lower quality components and higher than expected prices. Asus on the other hand is imho #1 motherboard manufacturer with highest quality parts.
