Will the gtx 1070 be outdated next year?

Out of curiosity, will the gtx 1070 be outdated by next year? How long will the gtx 1070 be able to play ultra settings until it becomes outdated?

At 2k it already struggles with some games on ultra. At 1080p it should last for a few more years, at least for 60fps.

If you overclock it you will get some more power out of it. The 1070 is a good overclocker.

I like zip-tying Intel stock coolers on graphics cards.

I only play games on 1080p. A few more years as in...? 4/5 years?

It's impossible to say for sure, but I think you can get at least two more years of great 1080p gaming. 

I like zip-tying Intel stock coolers on graphics cards.
