Looking for the best motherboard for an i7 8700K Processor, 6 core.

 

Starting on making my own Desktop computer for both Gaming and Graphic work.

Z370 classified K has been great to me since I got my 8086k

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

 

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad

I've been using my msi gaming pro carbon ac for a while now. Great mobo, but a bit expensive

ASUS is a good place to start.

 

Are you going for ITX? mATX? ATX? Do you plan to overclock? What sort of ports/features do you want/need?

Not going to over clock it at all, but might try for a dual video card set up.

Ram is fine, as any ram would be. Get half of that and put it towards a real card.
