Hello i have recently built my gaming pc with an AMD FX 8350 and a GTX 770. Most games run butter smooth until i hit Far Cry 3. when i had it on DirectX 9 it ran beautifully. when i ran it with directx 11 i got around 40 -45 fps. i have all the settings on ultra and and running it at 1080p. Something very strange i might add is that when i lower the resolution to 800 x 600 just to test things out, there was no performance difference at all. what the hell is going on?

So what do you suggest i do?

FC3 with a 770 only performs at 40-45 interesting. Something must be wrong.

Have you updated your drivers?

You should be getting 60 FPS + according to this review,
