I am planning a computer for my first ever computer build. I want it to be on the Z87 platform. I've been watching a lot of build guides from LinusTechTips and Newegg TV so I pretty much know how to build a computer. This is going to be my first build. I want it to be really quiet so it doesn't disturb me. I also want to be able to play games like Battlefield 4 at medium-high settings at 30+ FPS. I've got some things planned. I want a 4770K and probably an ASUS GTX 780 DirectCU II. I also want to be able to upgrade to Haswell-E. All I need is suggestions. Thanks in advance. :D

If its a gaming build a i5 4670K or FX 8320 (and overclock) is fine also you won't be able to upgrade to Haswell-E as that will use X99 on the 2011 socket not Z87

When does it come out?

Can I get some suggestions for the other parts?

We would need to know your budget and nobody officially knows when broadwell is coming its either Q3-Q4 of 2014 or early 2015 Haswell is staying for most of the year or even the whole year

Either of these cpus will cover your bases for gaming. Anything more expensive gives very minuscule improvements for performance and are rarely worth the money.

I'm planning on having a $4000 budget. I don't want to go over $4300 though. I'm also looking into a job to design buildings in Revit so take that into account as well for the parts.

In that case, I'd go for either the 8350 or 4930k for the cores.
