Should I BiOS update? Having issues..

Hello!

So with my Lenovo Y530 Legion, I started to notice that when I would put the laptop to sleep (By closing the laptop) When I would re open it - It would crash with the sad face, saying there was an issue and need to re boot... I thought this was bc I was using Throttle Stop, But I tried it without and the issue is still there, I also notice issues with the track pad, Like randonly the mouse well stop working when you are using the track pad... 

 

I contacted Lenovo They linked me to a Bios Update.. Should I do it is it going to fix the issue thanks!

Actually its usually common practice if the PC is fine and there are no issues a BIOS update is not needed. Since the OP is having problems and Lenevo told him to do it then I would go ahead

I have this issue too, mine will randomly stop working.. while using it or will glitch out at times and lag about.

 

Update is on 8JCN23WW 2018-05-25 

Going to update now.

They changed the load screen ?

The sleep to wake up crash seems to have fixed itself with the update.
