Hey!

Got my server up and running with Server 2016.

Doing some network shares etc.

Got the permissions setup so other users cannot access others files etc.

BUT

Is there a way to hide others folders?

So if 'JohnD' has permission to access the shares 'Domain Shares' and 'John's Files' but doesn't have permissions for 'Dylan's Files' is there a way for me to hide 'Dylan's Files' from view instead of just the contents?

Thanks in advance.

My Machines:

I know. I need to update this. And I will. Eventually.

No because it unshares the folder entirely.

It does? I thought it just hid the share. You can still map to it though.

If you're interested in a product please download and read the manual first.
