what motherboard/cpu should i be looking at for futureproofing(durability, compatibility wise~~)
for gaming, streaming and not hardcore editing

i dont overclock stuffs tho MIGHT do it in the future~~
will probably change to nvidia card~~

is it wise to go for mobo/cpu upgrade right now just its better to go for the 3 upgrades gpu/mobo/cpu.

You can't future proof a PC. In less than 12 months, some part will become outdated already.

If you want a PC that will last you 5 years with AAA games without upgrades and accept lower quality settings as time goes on, you'll be fine with an i7-8700K or Ryzen 7 2700X with corresponding motherboards and a GTX1080Ti. You can't re use that memory when going Ryzen, though. Too slow.

PC Specs - AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D MSI B550M Mortar - 32GB Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR4-3600 @ CL16 - ASRock RX7800XT 660p 1TBGB & Crucial P5 1TB Fractal Define Mini C CM V750v2 - Windows 11 Pro
