So I came across this problem after I bought a new laptop. The trackpad works fine most of the time but if I move the mouse cursor a tiny bit, and quite fast, it jumps back to the previous position and registers the gesture as a tap and the cursor "clicks". I've tried different drivers, and dug through all of the trackpad settings I could find but to no success. I'll attach a GIF showing how it looks.

I'm using an HP Envy X360 13-ag0804no running on Windows 10 Home. The trackpad is a Synaptics SMBus ClickPad.

It's probably just a simple setting I haven't found yet but does anyone know why the cursor behaves like this?
