Full or Mid tower?

Okay now i can see that mid is enough :) luckily I won't have that monster rad on top so my higher reservoir will fit and there will be space for pump.

Now i just have to decide on a specific model... which won't be easy cause beside performance i love when my rig have looks as well and at the moment Phanteks Evolv X is tempting af cause as Linus would say " Look at all those RGBs!"

Cases supporting a 360x45mm rad (assuming not push/pull)

Phanteks Enthoo Pro M TG (https://pcpartpicker.com/b/LMhqqs)

NZXT H700 (https://pcpartpicker.com/b/TTP323)

Fractal Design Define R6, S2

Corsair 460x/500D/570x (https://pcpartpicker.com/b/j3tgXL)

Coolermaster H500P Mesh (https://pcpartpicker.com/b/8rmqqs)

Hi Everyone

I'm in the middle of upgrading my PC. I'm switching to water cooling and going with custom loop. Current case is totally useless so i'm looking for a new one.

I'm not sure if middle-tower will be enough or should i just upgrade to full? I don't want to spend money just for the sake of spending it on full tower if middle can handle it without any issues, but i'd like to have space to build it comfortably without worry of "1cm! will it fit or not?" if possible so if full-tower is the way then i'm all for it.

in case of specs of the loop: 250mm reservoir, pump seperate from it and 360x45 radiator

If you have any recommendations i'd be glad to hear it. UV reactive liquid and little RGB planned so please keep that in mind

Mid towers can definitely handle it. Many now come with 360mm RAD support, though make sure your GPU isnt super long.

Fractal Design Define R6 is a safe bet, but there's lots of cases now that support 360mm rads (though you might lose some HDD space since many require you to remove HDD cages past a "normal" 52mm rad+fan width.

Fractal Design Meshify C

Phanteks Enthoo Pro M TG

Corsair 460X, H500, H500P Mesh

Most of CoolerMaster's Mastercase Series and Thermaltake's Core Series

NZXT H700

I'm running Aorus 1080 TI so according to their site it's 471mm long, current tower Zalman Z11 Neo (build quality is tragic that's why I'm changing it) fits it pretty well. But I wasn't sure if mid tower after switch to liquid with pretty big radiator, reservoir and pump separate cause I went for looks and reserve instead of compact in my loop will be comfortable size to build in.
Thanks for the answer

If you have the room a bigger case that has that space utilized properly is always the best way to go in my opinion. As an owner of a tower 900 its basically as big as it gets without going full retard.

As much as that Thermaltake tower looks great I'm not sure I'd be able to plan it out in non standard case since it's my first totally alone build plus doing a custom loop. I had Dark Base Pro 900 in mind if full tower would be the way, at some point even Cosmos C700P cause I'm infected with RGB and looks are as important as performance for me
