Hello, I've had the i5 6600k since it came out and wondering if I should upgrade. I game and edit videos/images and do regular work. It suffices for now but I have the money to so should I?

As others have said above me. Upgrade only if you need a performance improvement.  Having money to burn is not a compelling enough reason to upgrade. :)

By the way, what games do you play?  Do you fee any kind of performance issues with them?

Don't upgrade if you're satisfied.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Save the money until you feel you need a new CPU. That way, you'll get the most bang for your buck.

You can tell the difference between wifi and framerate, such as rubber banding of location or freezing with sound playing normally
