How can I connect to my works network drive/remote desktop

Hi. So I forgot to upload some files from works network drive to my onedrive for over the weekend and I am need to get the work done in the weekend. I have heard that people use remote desktop or are able to map their work network drive to do this. does anyone know how to do this

log in with a program like teamviewer or the remote desktop app if it has pro or higher. but that must be pre-configured

No my work does use teamviewer they use cisco remote desktop how do I download this?

Maybe. I don't need to do a remote desktop though I just need the files. Can I map my works network drive?

Contact IT. Depending on how it's set up you probably can't just remote in. If you can remote in without them setting up a VPN for you, it means your IT department is totally incompetent.

You don't. That's probably a local-only DNS record. It won't be web facing.
