DDU before GPU swap?

You really don't have to, both cards use the same drive, just update the driver, then swap the cards.

It's good practice to do so since you're starting from a clean slate.

I never do any thing for a swap. Normally just do it and do a clean install of the drivers again. Or an express, really depends on the situations. 

 

Ive only used ddu maybe 3 times in the past 10 years. Isn’t always nessasary.
