Strix GTX 970 Capacitor has fallen off

Hello,

One of the capacitors has fallen of my graphics card, i'm wondering should i take the risk of trying to re-solder it back on ? i still have the capacitor on me. I've also included an image to show where the capacitor has fallen off from.

Any help would be grateful.

Buy the same one but with longer leads. Simple and easy. Did the same to one of my $1000 cards. Has been fine for years.

I do not recommend it, as a slight movement when soldering can permanently damage the motherboard.

Also it is probably falling off because it is shorted and causing allot of heat, thus desoldering itself if the feet aren't blown off the capacitor
