My PC will not turn on on the first boot of the day, there will be no signs of power when the power button is pressed, but if i unplug the PSU power cord and plug it into another outlet it will power on and works like normal for the rest of the day even if i shut it off and power it on. The next day the same issue will occur and i will unplug the PSU power cord and plug it back to the Power outlet that was not working the the day before.

Things i have done:

Jumpstart the PC via the motherboard

Sent the PC to a repair shop to check if theres anything wrong with it especially the PSU, was told no issue with the system.

Change PSU power cord

Any ideas what can be the problem?

I read somewhere online that it resets the grounding but i cant find it again

For me it looks like PSU problem or... power state problem.

I want to know one more thing - if you turn off your system right now, wait one minute and turn on - is everything ok then?

Yes it will be as though there is no issue to begin with. This will only occur tomorrow

Which exact PSU model do you have, and how old is it?

So it's not power state problem, it's PSU problem.

And of course that repair shop did not find anything. How could they? Do you really think that they wait 12 hours for reproduce this problem? No, they just test for 10 minutes and that's all.

For good measure, I'd test with another PSU for a week or so, and see if it occurs again. If not, the PSU was the issue. If it does, it might be something related to your house's wiring even. Proper earthed sockets?

You may try to enable Wake on Lan in system (lan card prefernces) and in BIOS (allow power on shut down), disable Fast Boot in Windows and disable all "green" options in BIOS (like power saving etc.). It's only workaround, but it makes that your computer will use power (very small amount) all the time. If you want to fix this that way of course. After shutdown you should see that lan connector is still lighting (probably with different color). Unplugging and plugging again PSU from outlet is dangerous.

I made a mistake just now, it happens randomly, is there anyway i can test it other than getting a new PSU? Cause according to the shop the problem did not occur a single time after i left it there for 4 days.

The problem is i don't have another PSU, is there a way i can test it without another one? In case of it being my house problem.

Fast boot use to cause me problems but i have turned it off beforehand, I can't seem to find BIOS(allow power on shut down) though. I'm using MSI B350 Tomahawk Artic.

And you find it in lan card properties by the way? WOL requires both - system and bios settings.

In BIOS it's just "Resume by PCI/PCI-E Device" in your case.

And ErP ready should be disabled.

I found the one in system i believe but i can't find the one in BIOS. For system under the lan connection properties theres only 1 option that is left unchecked which is ONLY WAKE BY MAGIC PACKET does the ONLY matters?

Nice okay ill go turn it on

EDIT: "Resume by PCI/PCI-E Device" this is WOL for BIOS? and also allow power on after shut down?

Yes, allow power on after shut down. But remember, it's workaround to keep your PC powered at VERY low state (something like stand-by in TV), not a solution.

And only allow magic packet.

Option I described in BIOS is taken from manual for your motherboard. Find it.

I found the Resume by PCI option in BIOS. I dont see any allow power on after shut down though.
Is there any negative things other than constantly consuming low power?

No, only positive. And you are found correct option.

Now you can, for example, download any WOL application to your phone and turn on computer that way. :)

If you have TP-Link router, you can use ARP Binding, forward port 7 or 9 and turn on your computer even if you're in different city. :) And if you install UltraVNC you can control your computer by your phone. WOL is nice. :)
