Need Help with CPU

So I recently just upgraded from an AMD FX-4300 to an FX-8350. Seeing and doing research I saw that the two were the same socket and should be compatible. Agreeing running a game however everything seemed off and out of sync. So I rebooted the system and check the bios and it told me the CPU wasnt compatible... I’m stuck on this and the system is automatically under clocking it so it doesn’t over run. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

Reset CMOS and check for BIOS updates.

You need to update the BIOS first

 

Also, some weak AM3/AM3+ boards cant run the FX 8 core because they are too power hungry and the VRMs cant handle that power draw.

I have a Gigabyte GA-LMT-S2 or something around those lines. No clue if it’s too weak

I’m getting the same error even after resetting the CMOS checking BIOS which was fine
